Manage the OCR Documents
After you have enabled OCR, do the following:

Ingest an image file
- Open a project and navigate to Collections.
- In the Document Collection pane, select or create a collection.

Add an image file to the collection.
See Add documents using collections for more information.

Edit/Modify the text
- From the Document pane, click the Edit icon
.
- Switch the mode to Text Content, and do any of the following:
- To edit the text block, click in the text block and enter new text.
- To merge the text. select the Merge icon
, then do the following:
- Click the add icons
displayed against the text block you want to merge.
All the selected text blocks in the row are added in the Merge Text Blocks dialog.
- Click Merge.
- Click the add icons
- To split the text, point to the location in the text block and select CTRL+ENTER on the keyboard.

Export the document
You can export documents in XML and/or Word format.
- From the Document pane, click Export.
- Do one of the following:
- Click XML Export - The document is downloaded in the assigned location which you can print or save for future reference.
- Click Word Export, select a template from the list and click Export Word Document.
